A language immersion program in Menorca to speed up your Spanish

Stay in your own en suite room at the teacher’s family home and experience the real Spain.

Talk, eat and live like a Spaniard

Our immersion program is exactly what you need to speed up your Spanish while having an authentic experience in Spain.

My family and I welcome you to our home in Alaior, a picturesque village in Menorca.

Spanish lessons, delicious food, beautiful hiking trails, archaeological sites and… the Mediterranean sea!

We’ve got it all for you to experience one of your best holidays ever!

A fun and relaxed holiday on a stunning island while improving your Spanish? ¡Sí por favor!

Menorca is a paradise of gorgeous beaches, unspoilt nature, cultural life and a wonderful gastronomy. There are tons of stuff to do depending on what you like.

Swimming in the sea, going for long walks, visiting interesting arts exhibitions, enjoying live music or learning to cook a paella.

But also reading a book in our little garden or playing chess watching the sunlight turn into that orange-violet shade in the sunset hours.

An authentic Spanish experience

At Easy Spanish For You we offer a fun, rich and fruitful language immersion program.

We adapt the lessons, the rhythm and the activities to your language level but also to your own interests.

You’ll stay in your own en suite room looking onto our little garden in our home in Alaior, a peaceful and beautiful town.

You choose how much time you want to share with us and when you want to be on your own.

We’re always happy to have you at our table and to organise interesting excursions to help you get to know the island.

Testimonial

Rowan Mentis, Cape Town, South Africa

“I have long dreamt of having a total immersion in a Spanish family. My stay with Santi and his family was my dream come true. From the start I felt so welcome. They made me feel totally at home. That’s a gift.

“I was included in all the family activities: meals, taking children to music lessons; watching Iván play basketball and Laura in roller skate practice.

What an experience I’ve had, made so very special by being with Santi, Gloria, Iván and Laura. I will treasure it for the rest of my life.”

An immersion program totally adapted to you

You might want to receive more Spanish lessons per day, or less, or not everyday.

Or you rather attend one of my small group classes with other students instead of one to one lessons.

Maybe you want to have more time on your own to explore the island at your own pace, or you prefer us to organise exciting activities for you.

We’ll have a fun schedule ready if you are a bit unsure of what you want to do.

The most important is that you enjoy your time with us on the island. It’s your holiday!

These are some of the excursions and activities we organise for our students

Visit to Torre d'en Galmés

A prehistoric site dated circa 1.400 BC.! The town developed from the start of the Talayotic era and expanded until the end of the Roman occupation.

Hiking the Camí de Cavalls

The Cami de Cavalls is a 185 km trail that circles the entire coast of the island. The coastline changes along the way, from the orange jagged rocks in the north to the quieter green cliffs in the south.

Small bays, large harbours, beaches, rocky headlands. Along the course of the trail, there’s always something new awaiting you.

Cultural events at Lithica Quarry

A disused quarry that’s been repurposed as a cultural and artistic space. In the summer months they organise concerts, art installations, theatre and even a film festival.

Cooking

For Spaniards food represents a very important part in our lives.

Our family love to cook together while having a chat and enjoying a glass of wine.

We’ll be happy to share these moments with you and teach you how to cook a paella and other delicious local dishes.

This is me Santi, your Spanish teacher and future friend

DSC_0082.jpg

After many years working and travelling around Spain I fell in love with Menorca and decided to stay.

I’ve got a teaching degree from Salamanca University and the Baleares University and I’ve got my Spanish teaching qualification at the Cervantes Institute.

But I didn’t stop there! I keep up to date with the latest language teaching methods with courses and congresses.

I’ve been teaching Spanish as a foreign language for 7 years now and I’m still loving it!

I’ve got students that have become friends and thanks to my lessons are now fluent in Spanish and passionate about Spanish culture.

My partner is like me, a social person who loves meeting people from other nationalities and backgrounds.

We believe these experiences are very enriching for our children and of course for us too

¡Esperamos conocerte muy pronto!

Meet Paul, one of my students. He’ll tell you why my classes are something else
